Southeast City District Chairperson Tanja Jadnanansing hosts a conversation with Sisonke Msimang. This public event is part of a programme in preparation of the launch of a Nelson Mandela Memorial in the Bijlmer Parc. Recently the City District announced the three artists who are invited to present a proposal for this memorial: Dineo Bopape (1981, South Africa), Mohau Modikaseng (1986, South Africa) and Sokari Douglas Camp (1958, Nigeria). The final work will be selected by a special committee  with Noraly Beyer (former news anchor Dutch public television), Bart Luirink (ZAM editor), Charl Landvreugd (artist & curator), Joya Mooi (singer singwriter) and Hans Mooren (photographer and former unionist).
