About Zwart

The anthology Zwart. Afro-Europese Literatuur uit de Lage Landen was launched on 1 February in TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht, the Netherlands.

It’s a collection of stories - fiction and non-fiction - by writers  with African roots from the Netherlands and Belgium. The authors’ backgrounds differ in terms of their homeland, culture, and language, but they share a hybrid identity. The included authors in alphabetical order: Simone Atangana Bekono, Neske Beks, Heleen Debeuckelaere, Nozizwe Dube, Clarice Gargard, Dalilla Hermans, Sabrine Ingabire, Kiza Magendane, Ahmad Al Malik, Alphonse Muambi, Hélène Christelle Munganyende, Olave, Nduwanje, Melat G. Nigussie, Seada Nourhussen, Anousha Nzume, Olivia U. Rutazibwa, Vamba Sherif, Babah Tarawally and Chika Unigwe.
