Lara Bourdin

Lara is an art writer, editor and translator based in Toronto, Canada and Paris, France. She holds an MA in Art History from the Université de Montréal, where she completed a thesis on the sculptural works of German-Jewish-South African artist Irma Stern (1894-1966). Her past collaborations include work with the arts mobility fund Art Moves Africa in Brussels, Belgium, UNHCR in Nampula, Mozambique, and organizations supporting refugee and immigrant populations in Montréal. She is currently pursuing new research projects on Afro-Brazilian art.
