Femi Kuti is coming to the Amsterdam Paradiso-Noord music hall for the 3d edition of Africadelic, a collaboration with Ticket to the Tropics! Like his father, the creator of Afrobeat Fela Kuti, son Femi is a stubborn and independent artist presenting a mix of traditional Nigerian rhythms, easy groove and high life combined with a flavour of American soul, funk and R&B. Politics are never hard to find in the lyrics. Femi and his band Positive Force continue Fela’s movement adding punk and hiphop to an already rich repertoire.
